Marilyn, Abby, Isaac and I arrived in Zambia two weeks ago and we have been thankful to the Lord for answered prayer. We've been able to spend time in Chingola and Luanshya before travelling 12 hours north to Eliya, about a mile from the border with Congo. The people here are excited to see Marilyn and the kids and we've had some happy reunions. They might be less excited if they catch the chicken pox from a very spotty Isaac!
We are now arranging to cross into Congo and stay in Luanza where there will be the usual daily gospel and Bible teaching meetings. We also hope to visit the two small groups of new believers in Lombe and Congobashi. It will be an answer to prayer if we can get in as a family and let Marilyn meet the believers there.
The visit to Congo is in the Lord's hands as one of the bridges at the border has been destroyed and we'll only be able to cross the river if the rains hold off. We are also dependant on the good will of immigration and military to allow us in without visas. Prayer for Marilyn and the kids would be appreciated.
