First day of leafleting at Troon. It was a practice day and so quieter than we expect once the match days start. Rory McIlroy got a leaflet along with 2500 or so spectators. We had a reduced team of 9 people today due to the smaller crowds and that was a sufficient number. Tomorrow there are 15 of us going and Paul Jenkinson has the mobile trailer out early in the town and around the venue. It is another practice day but usually the crowds are bigger on the Wed and then are very big thereafter.
Encouraging that the first conversation on the shuttle bus from the station to the course was a Canadian Christian asking about the polo shirts and encouraging us in the work.
Golf fans are so polite that when they want to get rid of the leaflet they put them in the bins. There was no litter pick up required !!
