A Gospel Outreach is being planned for 11th - 17th July in Troon and the surrounding area.
A number of brethren in the locality have come together to plan the Outreach and take the opportunity presented by tens of thousands of people attending the Golf Open in Troon this July.
We have created a web site called www.gospelforscotland.com. We have reserved 50 A3 posters in trains and larger posters in 3 local train stations for a 2 week period in July. We also have large roadside advertising on the M77 and mobile trailers to be used as well as interviews on local radio.
Our intention is to make the Word of God as visible as possible and put the Gospel into the hands of as many thousands of people as possible during the week of the Golf Open. We are arranging for teams of people to distribute postcard size leaflets throughout the week. There is no age restriction for young and old and we would like as many as possible to get involved. It might be for a morning or a day or a few days, whatever you can spare. We will be organized, have assigned areas, responsible leaders, a plan for distribution and branded polo shirts for everyone to wear.
In order for us to be well organised we would like to have a commitment from anyone who is willing to give some time to the spread of the Gospel in this area. We will then be in a position to make practical arrangements.
Please contact any of the brethren named below to let us know if you can help.
