My time in India is sadly coming to an end. It has been a wonderful trip. The Lord has been so kind. Thanks to all who prayed for me, despite predictions I have been in good health for the whole month, this is only by the goodness of God.
My time at Kollegal Girls home was most enjoyable, the practical work went well and the hot weather was bearable. I got very attached to the girls in the home, we had great fun together. I asked the Lord for an opportunity to have some spiritual impute into their lives, despite the barrier of being a male He opened up the door and I had the privelage of taking devotions with the girls for the last week. This was a joy to share the Gospel with them and encourage those who are saved to grow in their walk with God.
As well as this we made a trip on motorbikes to a place called Ooty. It is the home of Hebron Christian School, where hundreds of missionary children attend.
My last few days were spent in Chennai, seeing the work of CMCT headed up by Colleen Redit. What an incredible Woman! She reaches around 3000 people every day with the Gospel through different ministries. Leper colonies, soup kitchens, sponsor programmes, schools, medical work, handicraft centre and many more; all run by faith. She is an old lady but still faithfully serving the Lord.
My eyes have been opened to many things on this trip, India is a vast country, and the needs are huge but the doors are still wide open. There is much I could share, I look forward to doing so when I return home.
