The last few days in Lubumbashi have allowed me to spend time with Fidele and Bondo, the two brothers in the pictures. They both have disabilities as a result of polio but are very good Bible teachers and extremely driven. We have discussed the various needs and opportunities for literature work in Congo and, God willing, they will be working with us in the coming months. It is going to take time for bibles to go into print and be shipped to Congo along with books and commentaries but we have started work on a small magazine which we hope to print and distribute in October. Books and commentaries are seen by many as too difficult to read and too expensive, a short and cheaply produced magazine is something which we trust will overcome these obstacles as well as helping to bring the gospel and teaching to a large number of people. Fidele, Bondo and myself are compiling articles for the magazine and I hope to purchase the necessary equipment for printing in the next week. I have travelled back into Zambia and am about to leave for Scotland. Please pray for the Lord's blessing on His Word that has been preached in the last five weeks and for Fidele and Bondo as they work on the magazine. Thank you for all your prayers.
