Nine of us left Lubumbashi first thing this morning to start visiting a number of assemblies for meetings and conferences over the next two weeks. We drove all day today and have now arrived in a town called Bukama.
The road leaving the city is good but after Likasi it was on to dirt roads and for long sections we averaged between 5 and 10mph over the bumpy terrain.
It was good to finally arrive at Bukama tonight and we were greeted with a choir from one of the local assemblies. After Dr Serge preached the gospel in the people's local language the saints provided us with a lovely meal. God willing, tomorrow we will visit two of the local assemblies before leaving for the next town.
