From Alasdair MacPherson -
The first week of the Shetland camp went well with so many prayers being answered. We were thankful that a late influx of campers meant that we had approximately 80 children (a full house) under the influence of the word for the week.
Graham Smith from Inverurie was responsible for the meetings and provided various lessons from the life of the Lord. This was particularly helpful as 90% of the campers had never been to camp before and many do not go to Sunday school or attend a children's meeting.
The uncharacteristically cold weather proved a challenge for many of the activities but the campers enjoyed themselves all the same. We were very thankful too for a great group of leaders some on their first visit to the Shetland camp but their spiritual attitude was a great commendation of the gospel as they provided enthusiastic leadership which the children responded well to.
We trust that The Lord will be pleased to use the seed sown to save souls.
