Great weekend in Wick. The small assembly are very active in the Gospel. We had three special meetings over the weekend.
Friday night : A talk in the local community centre on the Longhope Lifeboat disaster. There was a good number of local men and women attending and the response was good. It was a very informal talk which seems to work well here.
Saturday night : This was their annual kids prize giving, which as you can see was packed out. Again the response was great and feedback from some unbelievers who usually don't offer anything positive was interesting!!
Sunday: Christmas service in the local hospital. The locals work away at this work which also goes out on the hospital radio.
Sunday night talk on the 1914 Christmas truce. Again good number of people attending and there was great liberty.
OnFriday we had two local schools join up for their Christmas services. I took both in both locations. Today we have a first visit to Thurso school which we trust will lead to more.
Thereafter I head to Orkney for two special Christmas meetings.
